All Things Small
My friend had the most adorable, mini handheld vacuum cleaner that I had ever seen.
It was the best vacuum cleaner for me who had a hamster but it was way too expensive.
My hamster, for some reason, would kick out all the shavings in her cage when I wasn't around. There would be the biggest mess on the carpet and she'd just be staring at me making cute faces.
Basically any interaction with her resulted in shavings on the floor, so the vacuum cleaner and I were fast friends since Sara came into my life.
Sometimes the vacuum cleaner would be so full of shavings that I'd be embarrassed to meet my flat-mates who were often irritated at how fast the bag filled up.
I've since left the UK but I still think of that mini vacuum cleaner now, especially since my cat likes to exit the litter box with as much of a flurry of litter as possible.
Some things don't change.

To Trust or Not to Trust
I was watching television when the door bell rang. I peeped out the window and saw that it was one of those door to door salesmen.
I was contemplating whether to open the door or pretend that no one was at home when I realized that the sound from my television would have told him that someone was home.
So I went to the door. He told me that he had the best carpet cleaner and he was about to demonstrate to me.
I think I had looked skeptical for he then tried to assure me that he was no conman and that it was a genuine product.
I took another look at him and let him into the living room. He noticed our old carpet which has lots of stains.
He immediately pointed to it and remarked that he will make it look "as good as new".
I raised my eyebrows. And true to his words, his carpet cleaner managed to clean out the old stains. I was so amazed that I bought 5 bottles from him!
